Valentine Hearts and more

It is January and the mizzly Cornish weather has driven me to the computer for a few hours to catch up and begin thinking about Valentine's Day.

Our new hearts have gone down very well in the galleries. I call them 'lush', almost like little jellies. Because they are made with two layers of coloured glass, and fused to a beautiful smooth and lustrous finish, they are much more striking than our previous hearts. We are very pleased with them.

This year, we are giving away free a gift to go with any purchase of a heart light catcher before Valentine's Day (and if you all like it, we might well carry on afterwards). These cute little cloth bags with gift tag mean no messing around with wrapping up your present, just purchase, write your loving message on the gift tag and deliver to you sweetheart. How easy is that?

I am also working on some tealight dishes which are clicking away in the kiln as I write. More to follow on them soon.

Cornish Scenes ready for the kiln
And finally our Cornish Scenes went down very well in the galleries at Christmas so we we looking in to doing some more of these and also getting them online. Featuring local images such as rows of mining cottages, engine houses, churches, boats and lighthouses, I am going to try and do some very specific ones to show local scenes which will be fun.

I'll be back soon, but in the meantime keep in touch with all our news on our Facebook page.
