A Tea Leaf?

Okay, not tea leaves for a pot of tea, but when I filed this photo this week I called it 'tealeaf' - a leaf shaped tealight holder. Fused green glass that was then gently slumped, it was an experiment that went so well it is now on the website.

Secondly, along the lines of experimentation, Simon is delving back into the world of lamps with one made from four fused glass panels. This was them in the kiln last night, and I have to say they turned out beautifully.

Monday, he will have the copperfoil out to hopefully join them all together - watch this space. Then the lamp will probably reside in a local gallery - St Just Arts and Crafts - where there is a lamp shaped hole in their window display at the moment from selling a lamp of ours before Christmas.

My third experiment for today is running a little Facebook campaign for Valentine's Day. I have had some success with them before, but Mr FB is changing so much these days in the way that he displays messages. I am not sure how successful it will be this time around. Fingers crossed, here's hoping.
